The following are the operating precautions and electrical troubleshooting methods for electric hoists produced by European electric hoist manufacturers:
1、 Operation precautions
Inspection and preparation:
Before formal use, the steel wire rope, hook, limiter and other components should be carefully inspected to ensure their integrity and reliability.
Check if the power cord and electrical system are intact to avoid safety hazards caused by electrical faults.
Operating standards:
Overloaded lifting is not allowed, and hands should not be held between the steel wire rope and the object during lifting. It is strictly prohibited to hit the top when lifting the object.
The remote control must be used within a certain range from the hook (such as within 15 meters). When the operator is away from the crane or temporarily not working for some reason, they must press the emergency stop and turn off the key switch on the remote control to prevent accidental operation.
During operation, close attention should be paid to whether there are obstacles in the direction of operation. If there are, the vehicle must be stopped or avoided immediately.
When lifting objects, they must be securely tied and protected with padding at the sharp edges and corners of the object.
Safety principle:
It is strictly prohibited to pull or hang diagonally, and safety principles such as "Ten No Lifting" must be strictly followed.
When work is stopped, lifting objects must not be suspended in the air. During operation, it is prohibited to lift objects over people's heads, and the lifted objects must not be too high off the ground.
Do not rely on electrical or mechanical protection to achieve automatic parking, but should manually pre control the parking before the mechanism reaches its operating limit or may collide with other objects.
Maintenance and upkeep:
Regularly clean and lubricate the electric hoist to ensure the normal operation of all components.
Check and tighten the connecting bolts and nuts to prevent safety hazards caused by looseness.
2、 Electrical troubleshooting methods
Power failure:
When the electric hoist fails to start, first check if the main power switch is supplying power normally.
Check if the fuse is blown or if the thermal relay is activated, and replace it if necessary.
Control circuit malfunction:
Check if there is an open circuit in the power supply wire of the control circuit.
Check whether the contactor coil is powered normally or damaged, and replace it if necessary.
Motor malfunction:
When the lifting or horizontal movement motor of the electric hoist cannot work normally, first check whether the input voltage of the motor terminal is normal.
If the voltage is abnormal, it can be determined that the contactor contact is faulty and needs to be repaired or replaced.
If the contactor operates and the input voltage is normal, but the motor does not respond, it may be a damaged motor that needs to be replaced.
Limiting device and sensor malfunction:
Check if the limiter is damaged or malfunctioning, and replace it if necessary.
Check if the sensor is working properly, and repair or replace it if there is a malfunction.
Other electrical component failures:
Check if other electrical components such as buttons, indicator lights, etc. are working properly. If there are any faults, repair or replace them.
