Inspection

Visual Inspection:

Conduct a thorough visual inspection of the entire hoist system, including the motor, reducer, drum, wire rope, hooks, and control devices.

Check for any signs of damage, deformation, or wear.

Structural Integrity:

Verify the installation of all components, ensuring they are securely fastened and aligned.

Ensure that the hoist frame and supporting structures are stable and capable of supporting the rated load.

Wire Rope Condition:

Inspect the wire rope for any fraying, kinking, or excessive wear.

Verify that the rope is properly tensioned and that there is sufficient safety margin on the drum.

Limit Devices:

Check the functionality of the upper and lower limit devices.

Ensure that the hook does not collide with the drum or other components when raised to the upper limit position.

Electrical Systems:

Inspect the electrical wiring, connections, and control systems.

Ensure that all electrical components are properly grounded and protected.

Experimentation

No-Load Test:

Conduct a no-load test to verify the smooth operation of the hoist.

Check for any abnormal noises, vibrations, or temperatures.

Load Test:

Perform a load test with the rated load to ensure the hoist can handle the intended weight.

Gradually increase the load to 125% of the rated capacity and lift it about 100mm from the ground, holding it for 10 minutes to check for stability.

Dynamic Load Test:

Conduct repeated lifting and moving tests with the rated load to assess the durability and reliability of the hoist.

After the test, check the mechanical transmission, electrical components, and connections for normalcy and reliability.

Brake Test:

Test the brake system to ensure it can stop the load smoothly and within the specified distance.

Adjust the braking sliding amount as needed to meet the requirements under the rated load.
