The reducer of the wire rope electric hoist is one of its key components, responsible for converting the high-speed rotation of the motor into low-speed high torque output to meet the needs of lifting operations. However, during use, the reducer may encounter some common malfunctions. The following is a detailed explanation of these common faults:

1、 The sound of the reducer is too loud

reason:

Poor lubrication: Insufficient lubricating oil or grease inside the reducer leads to increased friction and abnormal noise in components such as gears and bearings.

Gear wear: Long term or improper use can cause surface wear of gears, resulting in decreased tooth profile accuracy and generating noise during meshing.

Bearing damage: As a key component supporting and rotating, bearings can cause unstable rotation and abnormal noise once damaged or severely worn.
